I was provided with a digital download of this book in Edelweiss in exchange for a honest review.
This book is a good way to normalize masks for kids. It's a dynamic storytelling experience with flaps that will be fun for younger kids to open and it prompts them to identify people wearing masks, which hepls them learn. I kind of wonder about the logic of having the flaps mean the person is taking off their mask, because that's usually the opposite of what we're trying to teach kids to do. But overall, I enjoyed it, it's a good tool to have during the pandemic, and the art style is bubbly and detailed, it makes the story upbeat and the cute patterns might make kids more excited about masks.
